There are 2 things that I always suggest to couples when they get engaged:

Number one: Do whatever feels right. Trust your intuition. If you want to get eloped in Vegas and party with your partner all night? Do it. If you want to have an intimate vow exchange with your soulmate in Yosemite Park, ABSOLUTELY. Freaking. Do it. If you want to run around NYC, eat and drink whatever you want, soak in every moment with your best friend and watch the sunset go down over the city as you exchange your vows. DO IT! (literally crying as I write this, because marrying your best friend is the most beautiful thing ever)

Your wedding can look like whatever you want it to. Trust me, I know what it's like to have the pressure of family down your back. (I'm Italian and I constantly get asked when I'm getting married)

But think about it this way, getting married, is a major milestone. It is, I think, one of the most beautiful things in the world. Love is not simple. Love is so grand and intimate and it deserves to be celebrated in the way that feels right to you and your partner.

Number 2: Find the right photographer

If you're reading this then you already must be looking for a photographer to capture your day! Great!! You should have your day documented no matter how simple or grand you plan it to be. These memories you're going to create are SO special and I promise you want someone to be there to capture it for you.

I freaking love love so much (did I say that already??). And I would love nothing more than to be the third wheel on your big day.

One of my biggest qualities is that I tend to care wayyyy too much. That means I will care about every detail during your elopement. Whether it's making sure you feel comfortable, fed, hydrated and most importantly happy! I'll be your personal assistant and photographer. What more can you ask for?
